ALISE Care Consultancy respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information securely, fairly and transparently. This notice explains how personal information is used when you contact ALISE, use our website or purchase consultancy services.
ALISE Care Consultancy is operated as a sole trader and acts as the data controller for personal information used to manage enquiries, clients, contracts, payments and our own business administration.
For data protection enquiries, contact: info@alisecareconsultancy.co.uk
We may collect business contact information such as your name, job title, organisation, email address and telephone number, together with information needed to manage an enquiry, booking, contract, invoice or consultancy service.
For an Independent Quality Review, a client may also provide documents containing personal information about staff or people supported. This may include special category information, such as information about health or care needs, where it is relevant to the agreed review. Clients should provide only information that is necessary and should minimise, anonymise or redact identifiable information wherever reasonably possible.
Most business contact information is provided directly by clients or prospective clients. Review evidence may be supplied by the commissioning provider and may contain information about other individuals. We may also receive business contact information through our website, professional networking or other legitimate business communications.
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, agree and deliver consultancy services, communicate with clients, manage payments and business records, maintain appropriate quality and security records, and meet legal, regulatory or insurance requirements.
Depending on the circumstances, we may process personal information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with a legal obligation, or for legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business where those interests do not override an individual's rights.
Where a client supplies personal information about other individuals as review evidence, ALISE may act as a processor on the client's documented instructions for that activity. The respective responsibilities and instructions are set out in the Service Agreement and any applicable data-processing terms. Where special category information is processed, an appropriate condition under data protection law must also apply.
Information is stored using access-controlled business systems and appropriate security measures, including multi-factor authentication where available. Client evidence is shared using the agreed secure method and access is limited to what is necessary for the review.
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that support our business systems, where necessary to deliver the service, where required by law, where necessary to address a serious and immediate safeguarding or safety concern, or where the client has authorised the sharing. Where a supplier processes personal information for ALISE, appropriate data protection arrangements will be used.
Some technology or service providers may process or store information outside the UK. Where this occurs, ALISE will use providers and arrangements intended to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable UK data protection law.
Personal information is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected and for any applicable legal, contractual, insurance or record-keeping requirements. Review evidence will be securely deleted when it is no longer required in accordance with ALISE's retention arrangements and any agreed client instructions.
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights over your personal information, including rights to access it, correct inaccurate information, request deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, and receive or transfer certain information. Some rights are subject to legal limitations.
Where ALISE is acting only as a processor for review evidence, requests relating to that evidence may need to be referred to the relevant client as data controller.
ALISE does not use personal information to make solely automated decisions about individuals or for automated profiling.
Please contact ALISE Care Consultancy first at info@alisecareconsultancy.co.uk if you have a question, wish to exercise a data protection right, or have a concern about how your information is handled.
You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
This privacy notice will be reviewed as ALISE Care Consultancy develops and whenever there is a significant change to how personal information is used.
